Who Founded Impact and When?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The founders of the platform are Todd Crawford<\/strong>, Per Pettersen<\/strong>, Roger Kjensrud<\/strong>, and Wade Crang<\/strong>, who started the company Impact Radius<\/strong> in 2008, which later became known as Impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Impact<\/strong> platform headquarters is in Santa Barbara, California<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The platform has evolved from traditional coupon, loyalty, and blog affiliates to include social media, influencers, content creators, business development partners, and even paid media partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Today, Impact has over two million users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This digital marketing service connects large global companies in need of advertising with content creators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n By content creators, we mean:<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you think you belong to this category, it’s time to make your first partner contacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When you visit the Impact website, the first question you’ll be asked is whether you are a company (brand) wanting to advertise or a partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You will choose a partner because you will be advertising companies for a certain fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Confirmation will take you further to a screen where you see who can sign up as a partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You will register via email (Sign up with email), but you can also choose one of the existing accounts on Apple, Facebook, Google, Twitter, or LinkedIn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you choose email registration, you will enter your first name, last name, username, email address, password, and phone number in order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The username will be visible to your future partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Before entering the phone number, you must select the country you come from so that the data is correct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To proceed, choose one of two verification methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This can be verified by email or phone number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We chose the phone number and received a message with a code in a second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can change this option later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please note that the received code is valid for only 10 minutes, and you must enter it within this time frame.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Every time you log in, you will need to enter is located (Add Website manually).<\/p>\n\n\n\n For manual entry, you need to download the code and embed it in the website header to confirm ownership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Before entering additional information, you must determine whether you are a person or a company and then enter additional information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The account display name is the name that will be visible to your future partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After that, typically, select your country, write the address, city, and zip code, and determine the time zone and currency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Under additional information, you will need to enter or define a few more details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can include personal information if you are an influencer or an individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This way, companies will know more about you to have an insight into who they will be working with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you include the shipping address option, you will need to write a specific address for delivery or determine that it be the same as the one you registered with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What is it for?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Some companies may send you their product to describe it on your blog or make a video about what the product looks like and how functional it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is also possible to receive a product as a reward for your effort and dedication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you include additional information, you will enter your active social media profiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the Media Kit, you can upload a PDF containing your images, icons, and graphics used for your brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you have done everything correctly, this will bring you to this screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The first thing you will see is the tax information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here, you must enter your tax number if you have one or specify that you are not registered for indirect tax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This leads us to the end of the Impact platform registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a day or two, you will receive information on whether you have been category you are interested in to see those that interest you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After selecting the company you want to advertise, all you need to do is press the Apply<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here we must note that there are two types of applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One is for companies you can work with immediately, and for some, you will receive an email notification whether you have been accepted or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are accepted immediately, a panel will appear where you create the link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Somewhere, you will also be able to enter the name of the site where you plan to place the link (URL), so you can see in the analytics from which place the person came (in case you advertise multiple companies).<\/p>\n\n\n\n How and where to share the obtained links, we have
